Laser Hair Removal
Why choose Lasersoft?
Lasersoft offers hair removal using three different machines each
unique in its own way. The long pulsed Nd Yag laser,
the Intense Pulse Light laser and last but definitely
not the least is the newer Light Sheer Diode Laser,
with its small probe and a chill tip, making it safer and more precise
laser than any other.
How does it work?
The laser beam penetrates into the skin and delivers the energy
at the root of the hair, destroying the follicle.
What areas can be treated?
All parts of the body can be treated, except for
the eyebrows and periocular areas due to the presence of nerves
close to the skin surface.
How many treatments are required?
The number of treatments will depend on the area but several visits,
spaced out over one or two years will be necessary to complete the
epilation.
Before the treatment
Stop waxing, threading & bleaching the area to be treated
at least 2 to 3 weeks before the treatment. You will usually be
asked to shave or cream the area to be treated a few days before
hand.Laser works better on single tone and untanned skin
therefore it is highly recommended to use a sunblock of your choice,
SPF 30 or above, before, during and after laser treatments. Even
if you decide not to get laser done, please treat your skin well
and use a sunblock.
During the treatment
Usually no local anaesthetic is required. Specially designed
goggles are worn by the doctors and patient during treatment. The
only effect is a hot, tingling sensation.
The time required for one treatment depends on the area.
After the treatment
After effects are NEGLIGIBLE. A slight
reddening of the treated area may persist for few hours. The
hair remain suspended as stubble or full growth for about a week
or more and then begin dropping off to leave a smooth, cleaner area.
Does the laser work on all types of hair?
